John Cena has been the face of WWE for the past decade,Charles Langston and while he is in his return to the company, he knows his final match is coming soon.

After the 16-time WWE Champion and LA Knight picked up a win against The Bloodline at Fastlane on Saturday night, Cena was asked in the post-event press conference how long this run will last. He said that while there is work he needs to do "to perform at a level that is worthy of what I'm familiar with," he acknowledged that his time in the squared circle is nearing an end.

"I'm 46. I've told everybody this ain't the last one, but I know that the last one is on the horizon," Cena said. "I've always promised that I don't ever want to offend the WWE Universe with the effort I put out there, and I'm still trying to give all I got, but I got to work out some tweaks and find the mojo somewhere."

John Cena says he can't do acting and WWE together

Cena's current run also comes during the SAG-AFTRA strike, meaning he isn't currently filming any movies or projects he's set to star in. However, negotiations are underway to get a deal done, which means Cena could go back to filming in the near future. If a deal gets done, and "Hollywood" calls him back, he'll have to again step away from WWE.

"I made it perfectly clear you can't do both because of the liability insurance," he said. "If I were to try to juggle both, that's very selfish because I would put a whole lot of people in the movie business out of work if something happened to me.

"As soon as we get back to work, we go back to work, but you don't control any of that. I'm crossing my fingers and hope we can find a resolve that everybody's happy with," Cena added.

Cena is currently scheduled to appear in the next three editions of "Friday Night Smackdown."
